Knowing you I found myself!

Today I’m left with silence, a deafening one.
It wasn’t always like this.
My silence was always filled with our endless talks,
day after day, night after night.
Those were the days when our silence also spoke with each other,
now, I have only silence.
Previously in silence I heard you,
now silence has my own voice.
I listen to me.
There was so much I shared with you,
but today’s silence shares so much with me about myself.
I learned to talk in silence with you,
now silence talks to me.
It has so much to say, so much to share.
The talks are still endless.
The difference is that the voice comes from deep inside me.
You gave me silence where I met myself,
it no more haunts me.
We have embraced each other,
after all, I’m introduced to myself here.
Till now I have known myself from your perception,
now I have been revealed with my perception of myself.
You gave me your perception, but I found mine.
I had you for so long that I had forgotten I had me too.
Knowing you, I found myself.

Chattering Mind!!!

It happens very often with us, especially night time when we’re in our bed trying really hard to sleep, that our mind starts wandering in all possible directions and despite all our conscious efforts it just does not stop. The body is tired and wants to shut down but the mind differs, it wants to continue talking and it wants you to listen. The conflict continues with several hours of tossing and turning in your bed, looking at the clock every minute.

LISTEN! Listen carefully to that chatter. It is our soul talking to us and telling us to look at something we’ve been ignoring. It is that aspect of our life which needs our attention the most in the present moment. It might not be the most important thing according to us, but then why are we still up thinking about it when we could be snoring away? We often believe that the aspect troubling us currently is our real problem which is most important and needs immediate attention and what our mind is talking about is totally different from what we are experiencing. But if we pay attention to what our soul’s chatter is telling us, we’ll see that the solution to our current problem lies beneath the story our soul is telling us.

We keep ourselves so engrossed in our daily problems that we forget to wait and listen to our soul. The soul gets tired of holding on to the problem which we have continuously chosen to neglect. That is the reason of the chattering of our minds. Our soul is forced to disturb us at that time. It wants to get rid of its problem.

The only way to stop this chatter and get a peaceful sleep is to allow our soul to talk. Let the thoughts flow and write down each and every thought you get and the emotions you experience then. Once you’ve penned it down, read it, bring your awareness to all the words your soul is telling you. This automatically will bring your conscious and subconscious in alignment with each other. Now sleep over it. By doing so, you firstly will be able to sleep peacefully since you’ve uncluttered your mind and cleared its baggage and secondly, you’ll know where your problem actually lies. And then once you consciously register the problem, you’ll work on resolving it.
Listening to our soul helps us work towards our growth. It’s all inside us – both the problem and its solution. We just have to accept them as part of us, as a part of our being. Never ever ignore the voice of your soul because by doing so all we are doing is running away from accepting our growth, which anyways is inevitable.
